HeiQ Viroblock technology

Tested and approved as bacteriostatic and antiviral against: H1N1 (Human Influenza A), H5N1 (Avian Influenza A), 229E (Human Coronavirus), H7N9 (2013 Influenza A), RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus), Mycobacterium terrae (ATCC 15755).

Reduction of microbial growth

12 UFC/g: the device is subject to 40% less microbial contamination compared to the minimum standards required by law UNI EN 14683:2019 (≤ 30 UFC/g), according to the ECM test report.

Design and comfort

Designed to fit comfortably on the face, Sani:Active Mask is soft, breathable and gentle to the skin. The 100% cotton outer layer is treated with water repellent and HeiQ Viroblock technology; the lycra ear loops guarantee maximum comfort.

Bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE)

Efficiency above 95%.

Protection from Staphylococcus

92% Reduction of Staphylococcus Aureus UFC count after 30 minutes of contact.

Washable

Reusable and machine-washable at 40°C. Daily washing is recommended for continued use (>6h/day); when used for short, non-continued periods of time the face mask can be washed once a week.

HeiQ Viroblock is an exclusive silver-based compound able to quickly inactivate viruses and bacteria, including SARS-CoV-2 (the virus causing COVID-19).
Fabrics treated with HeiQ Viroblock NPJ03 have been subject to laboratory testing to determine the effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2, both the conducted tests proved an antiviral effect of 99.99% or above.
